My interest for End-of-Life work was sparked by personal experiences as a caregiver to my mother. The time I spent helping her transition was an incredible gift as I was able to walk her through a dignified death experience – she helped me into this world and I, in turn, helped her out. The intimacy one can share with the dying is an experience that fills your heart with love. This journey with my mother fuelled my interest into a passion – my dedication to End of Life care by helping those at the End of Life and their families on this journey is a beautiful reality that gives me such gratitude and honour. Discussing death at any age or any circumstances is what completes our life. A complete life includes a good death.

Death Doula

December 2017, Francis was awarded Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) Honoris Causa by the Commonwealth University. Francis is a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse and the Executive Director of Positive Wellness Recovery Centre (PWRC) and the President of the Mental Health and Well-being Foundation based in Ghana and Australia. Francis has over 30 years’ experience as a Mental Health Nurse across public and private health care settings. (PWRC) provides comprehensive and integrated mental health support, counselling, psychosocial rehabilitation, music and dance therapy, hypnosis for healing, nutritional bites and reintegration into society. Francis has presented at National and International Conferences including locations in Australia, UK, Finland, Canada, Singapore, Ghana, Senegal, Malaysia and Dubai, UAE.

Jarrett Jedlicka currently serves as Vice President, Healthcare Advisory for Ceridian in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Leveraging his extensive experience in Healthcare, Jarrett is responsible for working with Healthcare executives and leaders to understand their business challenges and bring forward strategic solutions to address them. Prior to joining Ceridian, Jarrett held several senior positions at leading Healthcare & technology organizations, most recently as Principal for Healthcare at SAS Institute.

Kathleen is an RN-BC, CCM, CRRN and a Fellow with the American Academy of Nursing. She holds Master’s Degrees in Nursing, Healthcare Administration and most recently a Jurisprudence Degree in Healthcare Law, Policy and Management from Texas A & M University School of Law. Kathy has authored countless healthcare articles and books while also presenting worldwide on healthcare issues such as the Opioid Epidemic, Nursing and Case Management Ethics, Social Determinates in Healthcare and the most recent for the United Kingdom on “The Pandemic; Treat Endings as Beginnings”. Kathleen is the Owner/CEO/President of Fraser Imagineers and began her nursing career in the Hospital including Emergency Department, Labor & Delivery, Director of Nursing and created a complete Case Management Department. As a patient and nurse advocate for over 4 decades, the pandemic inspired her to enter Law School to make an even greater impact on the Nursing and Healthcare Industry.

Dr. Edwards is a medical professional with 40 plus years' experience in healthcare. She is a Registered Nurse, Medical Investigator, Legal Nurse Consultant, and an established published medical author. She holds an MHA degree, an MD degree, and completed post-doctoral fellowship training in researching and analysing medical data, at the CDC in Atlanta Georgia. Her passion lies in caring for the elderly and investigating what happens when medicine and law collide. For more than 15 years, Dr. s Edwards has provided free healthcare services to 3rd world countries; earning her the status of Dame of Grace, Dame of Honor, and Dame of the Grand Cross. Dr. Edwards' research interests include Care of the Elderly; Researching & Publishing Evidence Based Research on how health care professionals can improve care of our most precious population, the elderly; Medical Investigations; Researching & Publishing Evidence Based Research on how health care professionals can prevent Health Care catastrophes. At the present, Dr. Edwards is a member of the EC Nursing & Healthcare Editorial Panel."

Registered Nurse

Damla graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Midwifery from Dumlupınar University in 2013 in Turkey. Afterwards undergraduate education, she started master’s degree in Gynaecology Nursing at Gaziantep University in Turkey. Damla's midwifery career began Maternity Unit at state hospital in Turkey and she worked as a maternity unit supervisor midwife for a year. During this process, she won a scholarship by the Republic of Turkey the Ministry of Education, which provides the opportunity to master's and doctoral course abroad. She ended clinical experience lasting four years in total, to get a master's degree in England. In September 2019, she completed the Msc Advanced Midwifery Practice at Anglia Ruskin University. Damla is a Phd student with a background in midwifery who specialises in Complex Childbirth, Holistic Midwifery Education, Holistic Midwifery Practices, Fear of Childbirth, Caesarean Section Birth, Qualitative Research and Critical Literature Review Methods. Damla’s PhD will focus on the relationship of the new mentoring system, which plays an important role in midwifery education, and culturally diverse students.

Rosemarie Wagner is a federally certified naturopath in Switzerland. In 1997 she graduated from the German Paracelsus Naturopathic Institute in Heilbronn. Until 2001 she taught graduates of naturopathic schools in the German region of Stuttgart. She published several articles on the connection between thoughts and organ work. Several years of training in Zen Buddhism deepened her knowledge. In 2008 she founded the world's 1st Kinesiology Parcours in Switzerland Grisons. In 2011 she participated in a training with Prof. Dr. phil. Henry Reed / Virginia USA and created the I AM CODE, a key to one's own consciousness. In 2014 she was an exam expert for the federally certified Naturopath in Switzerland and taught at various naturopath schools in Switzerland. In 2020 she completed the master training as a hypnotist NGH National Guild of Hypnotists. Currently, she has three offices in Lucerne, Berne and Zurich.

Susanne Raeburn has completed a Master’s Degree from Aberdeen University. She has over 30 years of nursing management experience in different organizations and is now in the lead of digital standardized nursing documentation through Europe.

Rev. Benita Weathers is the owner and CEO of BL Weathers LLC, a multifaceted consulting business that enables the client in “Discovering what becomes you” and an ordained preacher, author, teacher, speaker, certified life coach, podcaster and freelance editor. Rev. Weathers is particularly interested in the holistic health of individuals - spiritual, mental and physical. With training in divinity, public health and biology, she is uniquely equipped to provide strategic and practical means by which individuals can achieve wholeness in their lives. She is especially interested in removing the stigma regarding mental health and assisting individuals over the age of 40 to re-tool re-fuel, and re-cycle their passion toward a life that is fulfilling.
